A Simple Acknowledgement of a Child

Today i experienced something for the first time as a parent that all Jesus-following parents (should) long to experience:  Our child's a acknowledgement of a person that doesn't know Jesus and their desire to go a tell them about Him.
Let me first say that Fisher, our first-born, is not yet a Jesus-follower.  As a four-year-old he has not yet declared Christ as Lord.  However, even in the state he's in, he said something this morning at breakfast, so simple, yet so profound.
We were jamming to Josh Garrells, probably the best lyricist i've ever heard, and i told the boys, "Josh Garrells believes in Jesus.  But, some people don't.  Yaya does.  Nonna does.  Poobah does.  But, ________ doesn't."  Fisher's immediate reaction was, "Oh no!  I want to go to ________'s house and tell him the truth so he can go to heaven and be with Jesus."
I nearly cried.  Though his reaction was probably not the most tactful, you could tell that he saw a spiritual need, desire to meet that need, and wanted to make haste.  I hope this is an attitude Fisher does not soon (or ever) abandon.  It should be the cry of the church and i was humbled to witness this simple acknowledgement in my four-year-old son today.
Thanks God.
