  • The SMOi website has been updated again. Please add Jack and Christian to your prayer lists.
  • We're starting to teach ESL to the Latino church.
  • PrayeRequests below.

Y Chromosone: (extras for the readers)

To whom it may concern,

The trip was long and grand. Racheal and i got to spend some real quality time together. I could go on for hours about what all we did, but know that we got to see so many family and friends. We highly recommend Zion National Park. Go see the pictures. We send our gratitude and condolences to all those who we stayed with and who put up with our junk. (Shout outs: Joe and Dawn Mulroney, Bob and Janet Lane etc., Robert and Maridith Lane, J and Susan Taliaferro, Willy and Emily, Jonathan and Jessica, Randall and Fiona Roberts, the 5 hitch hikers, Uncle Tony and Aunt Elizabeth Anuez, Uncle Johnny Roberts, Lindsey Jarmillo, Uncle Lovie and Aunt Lena Ertle, Cousin Joey, Uncle Andy and Marilyn, Uncle Rod and Aunt Nana Summers, Regina Repsher, Ryan and Jaq Roberts, and Randy and Rene'e Roberts...whew!)

On the way back to NC from Key West Racheal and i purchased a particular instrument that detects a certain hormone that is present in urine when one is pregnant. Now, before i go any further, i'd like to state that we still are planning to go overseas in the not-too-distant future. We don't know how exactly how such a pregnancy will affect our when, our what, our where, etc., but we know it's of the Lord and in His plan. And so, with no further a due, it is our pleasure to announce that Racheal has been impregnated. We'll go to the doctor for the first time on my b-day, February 10. (FYI: Racheal's is February 2.)

For the record, the earliest we could leave the country with the IMB would be mid-January (we think).

PrayeRequests:
  • The baby's growth.
  • The parents' (our) preparation.
  • ESL classes... perhaps an outreach.

Quote of the Month:

"We were living like kings while we were in California... expect for the fact that we were living under a bridge." -Caleb, the hitch hiker
