Having a zoo: (extras for the readers)

Dear loved ones,

We're in the market for a Biblical study or list of Bible verses that you who are experienced might recommend to Racheal and i as we continue to prepare for the birth of our first child. In other words, if you know of a soon-to-be-parents book or some verses from Scripture that we should know about, please send them to us. Thanks!

As you know, we went to the baby doctor on el Cinco de Mayo and found out our baby is a boy! Very exciting...Fisher Stone Pendergrass, on the way. Here at the Penderosa, it's going to be like Full House. Speaking of which, there are lots of other aditions to this place:

Presenting the world famous, locally notorious "Penderosa Petting Zoo and Park!" At the present we are boasting several featured creatures. Esther, the boxer. Sadie, the lab-retriever. A boxer puppy that has yet to be named. And, 592 ducklings. Now i know what you're thinking. "592 ducks? Why?" Well, you see, my father is a sportsman. He is raising hundreds of these creatures for the purpose of releasing them into the wild. Once the waterfowl population has been boosted in the area, it will be just in time for next hunting season. You see where this is going. One of the Hispanics in my church asked me Sunday, "Is he going to eat the ducks when he shoots them?" "Yes," i replied. He insited, "Well, why doesn't he just break their necks and eat them. That would be easier." How true.

As for Fisher Stone, if you'd like to pretend the USA is not in an economic recession, please visit our baby registries at Amazon.com and KellysCloset.com (password: Fisher).

PrayeRequests:

  • Fisher's growth. This week he's growing
  • Our trip to Florida: Safe voyage and good time/conversations with Racheal's family.
  • Racheal and i have some decisions in the imminent future regarding our overseas service. Where to go? What type of work? When to go? What to do until then?

I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say, "Your beautiful..."

Love never fails,
†il the whole world hears,
corey reid pendergrass

Hello love birds,
Your baby is beautiful...as I expected. Looking back at my parenting there is so much I would love to 'redo'. I think I could do a better job with what I know now. Even though there were so many times I did not reflect Christ in front of the boys...I continued to tell and teach them that Jesus Christ can change your life.He died for us because we are a mess, and we all mess up! The church is very important and we need it, but KNOWING Jesus and truly asking him to be leader of your life is where the good life is.I would ask them as they would leave to go out..."If something happens to you and I never see you on this earth again, will Jesus know you when you stand before Him? That is the only way I could survive loosing you!" Often now, I will say..."So how are you and Jesus?" They will hug me and assure me the relationship is good. I just love that!
I wish I had brought the stories of the Bible to life as the boys were younger. I beleive it would have built a desire and love for the Word at an earlier age. Do not leave that up to other teaches, as you are the best ones. I recommend teaching those stories straight from the Word and teaching them to fit the age of the child. My problem was, I did not know the stories well enough myself to teach them with the excitement they hold!
Enough of my opinion...for now! If you get an extra moment please come visit. One more compliment...you look good together.
Lots and lots of love,
Aunt Su
